A note from Randy

Kids and Teen Camp are both off to a great start!  It's amazing how well things are going given that we have well over 300 kids and teens sharing space.  Had a little bit of rain today, but that didn't hinder the fun the groups had at all.  We just made the adjustments and went for it!!

Our team serves in many different areas.  Bible story teachers, drama, silly games, sports, arts & crafts, dance, sword warriors, as well as group team leaders are all a part of what we get to be involved in as we share Jesus to the children of Enniscorthy. Our team has really worked well with the Ireland leaders.  We're so grateful for the relationships many of us have had through the years as well as the new ones that have been established this year.  We're here to help Christ Alive Church in any way we can as they reach out to the families of this community.

Our day starts early (breakfast at 7:00am) and then we head to the camp venue, arriving by 8:00am.  Each day we set up and tear down all of our equipment, sound, stage, backdrops, posters, etc.  But, this was Day 2 and the team did it in great time!  Kids rotate through each of the above activities all day.  We have 2 large group meeting times, one in the morning and another in the afternoon. At 3:00 scores of parents and grandparents enter into the Sports Hall where we meet to pick up their kids.  It's a sight to behold!!  By 3:30, miraculously (and a lot of hard work), everything is cleaned up and a team wrap-up meeting begins.

Each of these activities allow for the kids to have a great day, full of fun, but also, give opportunity for the kids to learn about Jesus.  That's really what we want to see happen.  Kids and families, coming to know who Jesus is….Friend, Counselor, Healer, Savior.  Pray with us and for us, that we will represent Jesus well to the nation of Ireland.
